SIRIUS 3RW40 Basic soft starters are suitable for soft starting and stopping of three-phase asynchronous motors. Due to the two-phase control, all three-phase currents are kept to a minimum during the entire starting time, and interfering DC components are eliminated. This not only enables two-phase starting of motors up to 55 kW (400 V), but also avoids current and torque peaks that occur when using star-delta starters, etc.
