Danfoss VLT FC51 inverter fault code query

Fault code: 2

Fault phenomenon: disconnection fault
Fault causes and countermeasures: The signal on terminal 53 or 60 is lower than 50% of the setting in 6-10 terminal 535 low voltage, 6-12 terminal 53 low current or 6-22 terminal 54 low current

Fault code: 4

Fault phenomenon: main power supply phase loss
Fault cause and countermeasures: The power supply side lacks phase, or the voltage is seriously unbalanced. Check the vehicle power supply voltage. Check the supply voltage and current of the inverter.

Fault code: 7

Fault phenomenon: DC circuit overvoltage
Causes and countermeasures of the fault: the voltage of the intermediate circuit exceeds the limit

Fault code: 8

Fault phenomenon: DC circuit undervoltage
Fault causes and countermeasures: The intermediate circuit voltage is lower than the "low voltage warning" limit.

Fault code: 9

Fault phenomenon: Inverter overload
Causes of failure and countermeasures: The load exceeding 100% lasted for too long. Check whether the output current of the inverter reaches the rated current.

Fault code: 10

Fault phenomenon: Motor ETR overheating
Cause of failure and countermeasures: The load of more than 100% lasts for too long, so that the motor becomes overheated. Check whether the output current of the inverter reaches the rated current

Fault code: 11

Fault phenomenon: The temperature of the motor thermistor is too high
Cause of failure: The thermistor or the connection of the thermistor is disconnected. Check the thermistor

Fault code: 12

Fault phenomenon: torque limit
Fault reasons and countermeasures: The torque exceeds the setting value in parameter 4-16 or 4-17.

Fault cause and countermeasure: Exceeded the peak current limit of the inverter.

Fault phenomenon: ground fault
Fault reasons and countermeasures: The output phase discharges to the ground. Use a megohmmeter to test the insulation of the output power supply to ground.

Symptom: short circuit
Fault cause and countermeasure: Short circuit occurs in the motor or motor terminals.

Symptom: control word timeout

Fault reasons and countermeasures: No information is sent to the inverter. Check communication lines

Symptom: Brake resistor short circuit
Fault causes and countermeasures: The braking resistor is short-circuited, thereby disconnecting the braking function.

Symptom: Brake chopper short circuit
Fault causes and countermeasures: The braking transistor is short-circuited, thereby disconnecting the braking function.

Fault phenomenon: current limit
Fault causes and countermeasures: vlt is overloaded.

Fault phenomenon: The mechanical brake is too low.
Fault causes and countermeasures: The actual motor current has not exceeded the "brake release" current during the "start delay" period.

Cause of failure: The settings of all parameters are initialized to the default settings

Symptom: Replication fails
Cause of failure: An error occurred when copying between the inverter and lcp

Symptom: lcp data is not compatible
Cause of failure: This error occurs when copying from lcp if data is moved between drives with very different software versions

Symptom: The parameter is read-only
Cause of failure and countermeasures: This error occurs when trying to write a read-only parameter.

Symptom: The parameter database is busy
Cause of failure: lcp and rs485 connections try to update parameters at the same time.

Symptom: The parameter value is invalid in this mode
Cause of failure: This error occurs when trying to write an illegal value to a parameter
